CBD Enterprises | China's first passenger route with seventh freedom of the air lands in Sanya!
At a crucial juncture in the operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port, on December 22, European passengers on the inaugural "Sanya ⇌ Prague" route operated by Kazakhstan's SCAT Airlines arrived smoothly in Sanya.
This marks the arrival of the first group of European tourists on China's first passenger route operating under the seventh freedom of the air. As a high-level achievement of the Hainan Free Trade Port's pilot program for opening up air rights, this demonstrates the positive progress Hainan Free Trade Port has made in deepening institutional opening-up and accelerating its integration into the global aviation and tourism network. The seventh freedom of the air, also known as the right of full third-country transport, refers to the right of an airline from a country or region to operate independent routes entirely outside its own territory, carrying passengers and cargo between two foreign countries or regions.

The successful launch of this route is the result of the coordinated efforts of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, the Hainan Provincial Government, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, along with the Hainan Provincial Department of Transportation, the Sanya Municipal Party Committee, the Sanya Municipal Government, and the Hainan Airport Group. It fully demonstrates the efficient, collaborative, open, and inclusive governance capabilities of the Hainan Free Trade Port. To date, Sanya has opened 41 international routes, connecting 32 international destinations, with a route network covering multiple key regions in Asia and Europe. Taking this inaugural flight as an opportunity, Sanya will continue to advance the development of fifth and seventh freedom routes, further densifying its international route network, connecting with the world with a more inclusive and open attitude, and propelling the construction of Sanya as an international tourism destination to a new level.

It is reported that SCAT Airlines of Kazakhstan officially established its Sanya representative office in the Sanya Central Business District on November 6th this year, fully demonstrating the growing international appeal of the Sanya Central Business District and even the Hainan Free Trade Port. During its establishment and development, the Sanya Central Business District Administration, in collaboration with Sanya Airport, the Municipal Tourism Development Bureau, and other units, provided "concierge-style" service support, efficiently resolving practical needs such as office location selection and establishment procedures.
In the future, the park will continue to be guided by the needs of enterprises, adopt a more pragmatic attitude and provide more professional services, further optimize the business environment, and work with more global partners to jointly write a new chapter of open cooperation.
