The Sino-Italy (Hainan) Meeting Room is now in trial operation! Building a new bridge between China and Italy

Rising tides in Hainan and building dreams for the free trade port, foreign investment has been a witness, contributor, and beneficiary of China's reform and opening up. With the deepening of the free trade port construction, the enthusiasm for "foreign investment in Hainan" continues to rise. On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, under the strategic guidance of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Government and the strong deployment of the Sanya Municipal Party Committee and Government, on December 31, the Sino-Italy (Hainan) Meeting Room project officially commenced trial operation in Building A5-D of the Commercial Street of the Tourism and Culture Sanya Headquarters Port in Sanya Central Business District.

The project creates a nearly 3,058-square-meter mixed-use space integrating catering, luxury goods, and art exhibitions, attracting Italian companies to open their first stores in Asia and Hainan, and to hold launch and debut events. It aims to help Italian companies expand their business in China, connect with investment opportunities in Sanya, and attract foreign talents. Currently, globally renowned brands such as PASCUCCI coffee shop, AGRIGELATERIA SAN PE' ice cream shop, LA BOTTEGA wine tasting center, Diana jewelry brand, Ura Ethical Lab leather goods brand, DENISPIZZA pizza shop, and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum have planned to open stores in the Sino-Italy (Hainan) Meeting Room project.

During the implementation of the Sino-Italy (Hainan) Meeting Room project, a special working group was jointly established by the Sanya Central Business District Administration, Sanya Tourism Development Group, Jiyang District Government, Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau, Sanya Commercial Development Group, Sanya Business District Industrial Service Company, Sanya Market Supervision Bureau, Sanya Tourism and Culture Bureau, and Sanya Civil Affairs Bureau. The working group provided 24/7 support, continuously ensuring seamless communication, negotiation, implementation, and venue support with the Italian side. Going forward, the Sanya Central Business District will leverage Italian resources to establish a liaison office in Italy, promoting Sanya and connecting with European resources to continuously support Sanya's export-oriented economic development.

The trial operation of the Sino-Italy (Hainan) Meeting Room project marks another breakthrough for the Sanya Central Business District in developing an export-oriented economy. It provides a crucial platform for Italian and European companies in the fields of high-end goods, culture, tourism, and financial services to enter Hainan, propelling Hainan-Italy economic, trade, and cultural exchanges to a new level and further deepening Sino-Italy economic, trade, and cultural cooperation. In the future, the park will strive to become an important window for Hainan Free Trade Port's opening up, leveraging its geographical advantages in the dual circulation of domestic and international markets to attract more global companies to establish themselves in Hainan and invest in Sanya, strengthening cooperation among industries such as trade, finance, culture and tourism, and high technology, and jointly writing a new chapter of development.
