Recently, the Sanya Central Business District's modern financial industry cluster, with a scale of 100 billion yuan, was successfully established. This marks the transition of the industry cluster from its initial development phase to a new stage of high-quality advancement and large-scale expansion. It will further strengthen the industrial agglomeration effect, strive to build a financial innovation hub in the free trade port, and solidify the core financial support for the high-quality development of the park and the province's modern industrial system.

Since undertaking the task of cultivating the modern financial industry in 2023, the Sanya Central Business District has achieved leapfrog development in just over two years. The park's modern financial industry cluster, worth hundreds of billions of yuan, successfully passed the provincial acceptance in December last year.

In recent years, the park has focused on "wealth management, cross-border investment and financing, trading venues, green finance, fintech, and capital markets," and has now attracted over 500 financial companies, with assets under management of nearly 600 billion yuan. The park boasts a wealth management industry cluster of 85.77%. It has attracted leading institutions such as Harvest Wealth, Dajia Investment Holdings, Qifu Capital, and Sunshine Life Insurance, as well as 64 QFLP funds and 12 QDLP funds, including Sequoia Capital and Schroders Capital, accounting for 50% and 30% of the province's pilot scale, respectively. Meanwhile, several first-of-their-kind financial transactions, such as Hainan's first SPAC listing and the Free Trade Port's first S fund, have been successfully implemented. Supporting platforms such as the Hainan International Carbon Emission Trading Center and the gold storage platform are continuously improving the asset allocation and trading system. The park has hosted the Sanya Wealth Management Conference for four consecutive years, creating a high-end dialogue platform for "Wealthy Sanya."

As a representative of the leading companies in the wealth management industry chain, Tao Ronghui, General Manager of Harvest Wealth, emphasized that the Hainan Free Trade Port's institutional advantages of "zero tariffs, low tax rates, simplified tax system" and "open at the first line, controlled at the second line, and free within the island" provide a unique environment for innovation in the wealth management industry.

Next, the Sanya Central Business District will focus on three main directions: First, strengthening the leading role of key players, accelerating the introduction of core institutions such as bank wealth management, public fund sales, and private equity, expanding the scale of the dual-Q pilot program, and consolidating its leading position in the province for cross-border funds; Second, deepening institutional innovation, promoting the implementation of new business models such as SPACs and S funds, improving infrastructure such as international clearing houses, carbon emission trading centers, and gold storage platforms, and enriching cross-border asset allocation tools; Third, building a dual engine of talent and brand, attracting and cultivating high-end talents in asset management and cross-border finance, continuing to successfully host the Sanya Wealth Management Conference, and shaping a "Wealthy Sanya" brand with international influence.

The park will leverage leading companies such as Harvest Wealth to promote efficient integration between finance and the real economy, accelerate the construction of a first-class domestic and internationally renowned wealth management industry cluster, and provide core support for Hainan to build a high-level modern financial hub for opening up to the outside world.
